Constance "Connie" Marie Savoie Pinero

Constance "Connie" Marie Savoie Pinero, 66, a native of New Orleans and resident of Bourg, died at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home chapel. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Joseph "Joe" Pinero Jr. of Bourg; two sons, Brian Pinero and wife, Joan, of Harahan and Destin Pinero of Bourg; two daughters, Donna Wedgeworth of Bourg and Desiree P. Billiot and husband, Dale, of Houma; one brother, Joseph Savoie of Australia; one sister, Kathy Savoie of Destrehan; nine grandchildren, Courtney Wedgeworth, Sarah Wedgeworth, Heather Dardar, Jordan Pinero, Jake Billiot, Rory Hamner, Blaize Hamner, Conner Hamner and Duncan Hamner; and his mother-in-law, Edith Browne of Bourg. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eves Junius Savoie Jr. and Angeilena Adams Savoie; one son, Joseph "Joey" Pinero III; and two brothers, Eves Junius Savoie III and Bert Savoie. She was a homemaker, a charter member of Cleopatra, Alabama Girlfriend Club and Pin Spliters Bowling League at Creole Lanes.
