Alton John Alleman, 60, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2012 after a long battle with lung cancer. He was a resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 12, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 9:00 AM until Service time at St. Eloi Catholic Church Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Eloi Catholic Church. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2 He is survived by his, Wife of 38 years, Lynne Hebert Alleman 2 daughters, Shawn Alleman Smith and husband Shawn Smith and Bethany Alleman Gentry and husband Colby Gentry, 2 Grandchildren, Reese and Grant Smith, his mother, Elda Templet Alleman, mother in law, Phyllis N. Hebert six sisters, Joann A. Olivier (Elton), Marylin A. Porche (Glenn), Melva A. Kelpsch (Dale), Valarie A. Porche, Ella A. Rhodes (Bryan), Elda A. Glover (Ernest), two sisters in law, Wanda H. Ledet and Laurie H. Ashley two brothers, Clenese "Sonny" Alleman, Jr (Tami), Gary Alleman (Annette), three brothers in law, Wayne T. Hebert (Jeanette), David L. Hebert (Ginger), and Mark R. Hebert (Beth), two god daughters, Michelle O. Jordan and Tristen Hebert He was preceded in death by his, Father, Clenese Alleman, Sr, Father in law, Emanuel “Buddy” Hebert His brothers in law, Barry Porche and Randy Ledet He was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church and St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. He was a retired boat captain from Louisiana Land & Exploration.
