Charles Joseph Crochet, 77, a native of Houma and a resident of Allen, Texas, died at 1:45 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2008.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel, with internment in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Houma.
He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Crochet Page and husband, Joseph, of Texas; one brother, Tony Crochet of Houma; one sister, Marguerite Giroir of Houma; and three grandchildren, Jason Page, Matthew Page and Lauren Page.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Bergeron Crochet; his parents, Viltress and Anna Lee Bergeron Crochet; three brothers, Paul Crochet, Harold Crochet and James "Peanut" Crochet; and two sisters, Rosemary C. Bergeron and Rita C. Martin.
He was a driller for Delta Exploration and a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
