Louis John Porche

Louis John Porche, 65, a native and resident of Houma, died at 11:13 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2007. Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at the Chauvin Funeral Home chapel. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with interment at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery. He was survived by his wife, Judy Keys Porche of Houma; two sons, John Porche and wife, Cindy, and Jason Porche of Houma; two daughters, Catherina Porche and Aundra Porche of Houma; one sister, Yvonne Porche Hutchinson of Houma; three grandchildren, Lacey Triche, Miranda Porche and Nicholas Porche; two great-grandchildren, Isaiah Willis and Savanna Triche; and his former wife Joyce Lewis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Caul Paul Porche Sr. and Charlotte Peret Porche; two brothers, Caul Paul Porche Jr. and Norman Porche. He was self-employed with Porche Wholesales. He was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
