Agnes Boutte Grice, 97, a native of New Iberia and resident of Houma, died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Friday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by one daughter, Betty Livings of Houma; four grandchildren, Jan Cancienne and husband, Wayne, of Houma, Susan Blanchard and husband, Lee Kalik, of Pass Christian, Miss., Mary Ellen Tanner of Houma and Ray Blanchard Jr. and wife, Paula, of Houma; and five great-grandchildren, Amber Cancienne, Jacey Tanner, Branum Tanner, Chad Blanchard and Kellie Blanchard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Grice; her parents, Ulysses Boutte and Eldora Viator Boutte; and numerous brothers and sisters.
She was a homemaker, a wonderful grandma, gardener and cook, very religious and deep faith which she passed on to her daughter and grandkids.
She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
