Betty Marie Bonvillain LeCompte Guidry, 71, a native and resident of Houma, died at 11 a.m. Saturday Dec. 8, 2007
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by her husband, Russel Paul Guidry of Houma; one son, Roland Paul LeCompte Jr. and wife, Dinah, of Houma; one daughter, Tanya LeCompte Price and husband, Paul Aaron, of Houma; one stepson, Brooke Guidry and wife, Marla, of Houma; five sisters, Geraldine LeCombe of Baton Rouge, Earline Bonvillain of Houma, Dabbie Grice of Oklahoma, Diane Giroir and Bridget Portier of Houma; three grandchildren, Reese Price, Paul Wyatt and Gage LeCompte; and two step-grandchildren, Connor Guidry and Grant Guidry.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roland LeCompte Sr.; and her parents, Allen Joseph Bonvillain and Yula Gass Bonvillain.
She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
She was a retired clerk with Terrebonne Parish Courthouse and a member of the Ladies Rosary Club.
