Albert Ledet

Albert Joseph Ledet, Jr., 70, died Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 2:17 PM. He was a native of Chauvin, LA and resident of Schriever, LA. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Living Word Church,1916 Highway 311, Schriever, Louisiana 70395. He is survived by his wife, Bessie Bourg Ledet, Gray, LA, sons, Albert Joseph Ledet, III and wife Laura Wheeler Ledet, Michael Gerard Ledet, Rev. Timothy Gerard Ledet, Sr. and wife Margie Hebert Ledet, John David Ledet and wife Stacey Hodges Ledet, daughters, Geralyn Ledet Fangue and husband Mark Fangue, Angela Ledet Adair and husband Joseph Adair, sister, Dena Ledet Redmond and husband Casey Redmond, 21 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Irene Gerenne Ledet, one grandchild, four great grandchildren, parents, Albert Joseph Ledet, Sr. and Dolores Lyons Ledet, sister, Charlotte Chauvin Ledet. He was a founding member of Living Word Church of Houma. He was a Godly husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and loved Jesus with his whole heart, soul, mind and strength. He was a father figure to many, many young people at Living Word Church and in the Body of Christ. He is greatly loved and will be missed. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Missions Department of Living Word Church of Houma.
