Aaron Joseph Pellegrin, 83, a native of Chauvin and resident of Montegut, died at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Montegut Fire Station. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by one son, Erroll J. Pellegrin and wife, Nancy, of Bourg; one daughter, Kathleen Pellegrin of Bourg; two sisters, Louella Bourg and Laura Lee LeCompte of Chauvin; his special friend, Gilda Guillory of Houma; three grandchildren, Timothy Pellegrin, Kimberly Pellegrin and Kayla Babin Plaisance; and four great-grandchildren, Brittany Pellegrin, Cheyenne Karbo, Katelyn Plaisance and Ross Hebert.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Bourg Pellegrin; his parents, Eustice Pellegrin and Celestine Lapeyrouse Pellegrin; two brothers, Norman Pellegrin and Eddie Pellegrin; and two sisters, Lethia Bourg and Iona Pellegrin.
He was the retired owner of Bourg and Pellegrin Crewboat Rentals.
He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
