Margaret Doiron Larke, 92, a native and resident of Houma, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass will be at noon Monday at the cathedral, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1.
She is survived by two daughters, Judith Kay "Candy" Archila and husband, Julio, and Michele Lottinger and husband, David; two sons, Judge George Larke Jr. and wife, Vickie, and James Larke and wife, Beth; 15 grandchildren, Margaret de la Luz Archila, Andrea Archila Faircloth and husband, Brandon, Candice Archila, Julio Archila Jr., Anna Lucia Archila, Gabrielle Archila Cotten and husband, Joseph, Nicolas Archila, George Larke III, Jessica Larke, Melissa Larke Lawrence, Sarah Larke, James Larke Jr., Jeffrey Larke and wife, Marion, Larke Lottinger and Landon Lottinger; and nine great-grandchildren, Taylor Lottinger, Sofia Babin, London Faircloth, Maya Faircloth, Jett Faircloth, Dominic Archila, Diego Archila, Evan Lawrence and Alexander Lawrence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Joseph Larke; her parents, Clay Doiron and Frances Fabregas Doiron; one grandson, John William Larke; four sisters, Juanita Landry, Mae Frances Babin, Rhea Boudreaux and Dorothy Scurto; and three brothers, Clayton Doiron, Frank Doiron and James Doiron.
She was a member of the St. Francis de Sales Altar Society and the Knights of Columbus No. 1317 Ladies Auxiliary.
Her greatest gift was the gift of faith she gave to her four children.
