Leola Dupre Falgout Detiveaux, 72, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of Houma, died at 6:02 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Gary Falgout Jr. and wife, Debra, of Gray; five daughters, Brenda Scott and husband, Earl Jr. "Tootsie" of Houma, Jean Ellen Morris and husband, Charles "Chuck" of Montgomery, Ill., Crystal Duplantis and husband, Clark, of Dulac, Sheri Falgout and Stephanie Falgout of Houma; one brother, Herbert Dupre of Houma; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald Falgout; her second husband, Rufus Detiveaux; her parents, Cleveland Dupre and Hattie Rogers Dupre; and two sisters, Theresa Authement and Tina Marie Dupre.
She was a homemaker, former owner of Hwy 24 Seafood and Restaurant, sales person for Hattie Dress Shop and a laborer for Authement Canning Co.
She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church.
