George Loyola "Hook" Boudreaux

George Loyola "Hook" Boudreaux, 87, a native of Houma, died at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2007. Visitation will from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Annunziata Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jeanette Theriot Boudreaux; two sons, George "Mummy" Boudreaux and wife, Peggy, and Dr. James "Jimmy" Boudreaux and wife, Joy; two daughters, Marie Boudreaux and Joan Boudreaux; four grandchildren, Leah Boudreaux Gonsoulin and husband, Wayne, Lacy Boudreaux, Timothy Boudreaux and Connie Boudreaux; and one sister, Ernestine Boudreaux Ellender. He was preceded in death by his parents, Van George Boudreaux and Agnes Guidry Boudreaux; two brothers, F.E. Boudreaux and Emmett Boudreaux; and three sisters, Claire Boudreaux Belanger, Gloria Boudreaux Haydel and Marie Van Boudreaux. He was a loving and wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Europe during World War II. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Regional Military Museum in Houma or the American Heart Association.
