Robert Anthony Dusse', on Sunday, October 28, 2007 at 6:05 A.M. Husband of Linda Smith Dusse' of Houma, LA. Son of the late Charles Albert Dusse' and Irma Lucie Barillier Dusse'. Father of Thomas Alan Dusse' and wife Bridget of Marietta, GA, Barry Robert Dusse' of Baton Rouge, LA, David Michael Dusse' and wife Marie of Flowers Mound, TX. Brother of Richard Charles Dusse' and wife Lena of Georgetown, TX, Ronald Joseph Dusse' and wife Miriam of Slidell, LA. Grandfather of Amanda Lynn Dusse' and Christopher Thomas Dusse' of Marietta, GA. Age 71 years, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Houma, LA. After graduating from Holy Cross High School in New Orleans he became a pilot in the US Air Force. He then attended Loyola University in New Orleans where he graduated in 1960 and went to work in his parents business, Southern Pet Supply Co., until 1966. He then joined Sears & Roebuck in 1966, becoming the controller for the store in Houma. In 1981 he started his own accounting business. He was ordained a Deacon for the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux on Dec. 20, 1980, serving as Deacon at St. Bernadette parish and Chaplain at Sakos Nursing Home. He was also appointed Deacon Director for the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux by Bishop Boudreaux, a position he held for 20 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, November 2, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 409 Funderburk Ave., Houma, LA, with interment at Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home, 5899 Hwy 311, Houma, LA from 6:30 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and on Friday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church from 8:30 A.M. until funeral time.
