Doyle Hayes Doggett

Doyle Hayes Doggett, 77, a native of Wingate, Texas, entered the gates of heaven, Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007. Services were held Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marion Pace Doggett of Houma; two brothers, Richard Doggett of Stanton, Texas, and Raymond Doggett of Kerrville, Texas; two daughters, Tarra Lynn Pitre and husband, Dennis, of Lockport and Ronda Kaye Porche and husband, Rickey, of Houma; one son-in-law, Jerry Duplantis of Houma; four grandchildren, Corey, Casey, Jennifer and Brittany, all of Houma; one niece, Tomorrow; and one nephew, Billy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hayes Lennard Doggett and Mary Emma Adcock Doggett. He was a U.S. Korean War veteran and a 35 year employee of Dresser Industries. He was a loving husband, caring father and giving grandfather.
