Eunice Dorothy Thorne Green

Eunice Dorothy Thorne Green, 93, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, died at 2:40 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans. She is survived by two sons, Harry H. Green and wife, Ann, and Lester Thorne and wife, Kay; two brothers, Stanley Thorne and Christian Thorne; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry H. Green Jr.; her parents, Frederick William and Annie Arsaga Thorne; and five brothers, Raymond, Frederick, Lester, Alvin and Curtis Thorne. She was a homemaker. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Children’s Hospital of New Orleans.
