Hazel Marcel Filce, 81, a native and resident of Houma, died at 9 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007.
Visitation will be from 7 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by three sons, Robert A. Filce of Thibodaux, Ronnie J. Filce and Jerry P. Filce of Houma; five brothers, Russell Marcel, Junell Marcel, Louis Marcel, Kurt Marcel of Houma and Norman Marcel of Thibodaux; four sisters, Ethel M. Babin, Rita Mae M. Porche, Louise M. Porche of Houma and Alice M. Clark of Bayou Blue; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony M. Filce; and her parents, Sullivan Marcel and Louise Molaison Marcel.
She was a homemaker and a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
