Gertrude "Gert" Marie Breaux Cunningham

Gertrude "Gert" Marie Breaux Cunningham, 81, a native and resident of Houma, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Joseph Cunningham of Houma; one son, Wayne Cunningham and wife, Beth, of Lake Providence; one daughter, Bonnie Guidry and husband, Jim, of Houma; two brothers, Herman Breaux and Bubba Breaux of Houma; one sister, Shirley Ledet of Houma; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Breaux and Louise Giroir Breaux. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
