Shirley Marie Cadiere Dupre Babineaux

Shirley Marie Cadiere Dupre Babineaux, 77, a native and resident of Houma, died at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2007. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by one sister, Odilia Babin of Houma. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Dupre; her second husband, Joseph Jeffrey Babineaux; her parents, Thomas Cadiere and Jennie Pitre Cadiere; four brothers, Wilbert Cadiere, Harris Cadiere, Joseph Cadiere and Shelby J. Cadiere; two sisters, Leola Babin and Viola Stine Lirette. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.
