Lloyd Peter Duhe’ Sr., 87, a native of Reserve and resident of Houma, died at 7:45 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel, with burial at a later date.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Esther Adams Duhe’ of Houma; two sons, Lloyd Duhe’ Jr. and wife, Evelyn, of Houma, and David Duhe’ and wife, JoAnn, of Morgan City; one brother, Eldon Duhe’ of Reserve; one sister, Doris Jacob of Reserve; three grandchildren, Danny Duhe’, Mark Duhe’ and Jenny Bonvillain; two step-grandchildren, Tager Rosson and Caylis Rosson; and two great-grandchildren, Luke Duhe’ and Marissa Bonvillain.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wiltz Duhe’ Sr. and Lizzie Clement Duhe’; two brothers, Wiltz Duhe’ Jr. and Nolan Duhe’; and four sisters, Etta Clement, Lucille Rousell, Evna Boudreaux and Ruth Jummoville.
He was a retired shop foreman with Brady Engine Co. for 40 years, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Whiskey Pass Rodeo Association.
He was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church.
