Louis 'Luigi' Luciano Lusco, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2007. Wife of Mary Dugas Lusco of Jefferson, LA. Son of the late Salvatore Lusco and Josephine Sagona Lusco. Father of Louis Luciano Lusco II and Linette Lucina Lusco of Jefferson, LA. Brother of Sam Lusco, Annette Melum of Houma, LA, and the late Ignatius Lusco. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Age 71 years, a native of Houma, LA and a resident of Jefferson, LA. He was retired with the New Orleans Sewage and Water Board, and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of the Italian American Marching Club, Greater New Orleans Italian Cultural Society, and he enjoyed wood working. He was a parishioner of Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in New Orleans, Louisiana. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, 500 Goode St., Houma, LA, with Interment at St. Francis de Sales #1 Cemetery, Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc., 5899 Hwy 311, Houma, LA from 6:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M., and on Friday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral from 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.
