Adele Marie Dupre Pellegrin, 88, a native of Houma and a resident of Chauvin, died at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chauvin. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Eddie Pellegrin Jr. and wife Becky of Dallas and Curtis Pellegrin of Denver; three daughters, Berthile LeBouef and husband Milton, Phillis Picou of Chauvin, Shirleen Conrad and husband Bruce of Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother, Ernest "E.J." Dupre Jr. of Gonzales; two sisters, Genevieve Hebert of Chauvin and Lyle Simoneaux of Bourg; 18 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and five great-great granchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Pellegrin Sr.; her parents, Ernest Dupre Sr. and Josephine LeBoeuf Dupre; one son, Herman Pellegrin; one son-in-law, Jesse Picou; one grandson, Ryan James Picou; two brothers, Linest Dupre and Duffy Dupre; two sisters, Elodie Price and Niecia Robichaux.
She was retired florist for Pellegrin Florist and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
