Bonnie Marie Bergeron Guidry, 69, a native and resident of Houma, died at 7:10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ulysses Guidry Sr. of Houma; her mother, Anna May Leonard Bergeron Dupre of Houma; one son, Ulysse Guidry Jr. and wife, Terry, of Houma; three daughters, Phyllis Babin and husband, Raymond, of Lake Charles, Deborah Hurst and husband, Oscar "Jimmy", of Houma, and Cindy Gouner and husband, Robert "Mike", of Gibson; two brothers, Jerry Bergeron and wife, Nancy, and David Bergeron and wife, Debbie, of Houma; two sisters, Susan Beeson and husband, Royce, of Houma, and Sally Logaglio and husband, Philippe, of Belle Chasse; 10 grandchildren, James Babin and wife, Beth, of Lake Charles, Laura Babin of Lake Charles, Katherine Gouner of Baton Rouge, Steven Gouner of Gibson, Ashley, Paul, Phillip, Amanda, Patrick and Allison Guidry of Houma; one step-grandchild, Jill Hurst of Houma; and one great-grandchild, Emma Babin of Lake Charles. She was preceded in death by her father, Ivy Bergeron. She was secretary/treasurer with Guidry Electric Contractors Inc. She was a past catechism teacher, docent at Southdown Museum, Quilting Clubs, St. Anthony Ladies Altar Society, pastoral council at St. Anthony for 23 years and Eucharistic minister. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
