Hillary Michel Lirette

Hillary Michel Lirette, 79, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Theriot, died at 8:43 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2007. Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Eloi Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by one daughter, Ellery Ann Falgout and husband, Lynn, of Bayou Lourse; two brothers, Dennis and Daniel Lirette of Theriot; four sisters, Velma Dehart of Houma, Violet Robichaux of Chauvin, Leona Guidry and Angelia Durio of Theriot; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis Lirette Sr. and Marie Liner Lirette; two brothers, Roosevelt and Jimmy Lirette; and one sister Geanne Trahan. He was a tug-boat captain for Cenac Towing and was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church.
