Lorene Upchurch LeBlanc, 85, a native of Grant, Okla., and resident of Houma, died at 8:01 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2007.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Morris Anthony LeBlanc of Houma; two sons, Tracy LeBlanc Sr. and wife, Victoria Degate LeBlanc, and John David LeBlanc and wife, Lori Boquet LeBlanc, of Houma; one son-in-law, David Ledet of Houma; two sisters, Norma Aline Huber of Terrell, Texas, and Eddie Louise Andrus of Bunkie; eight grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Lee Upchurch and Emma Hervey Upchurch; one daughter, Jane LeBlanc Ledet; and one sister, Betty Jo Tew.
She was retired from Sears. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Houma.
