Robert “Bobby” Paul Cox

Robert “Bobby” Paul Cox, 22, a native of Houston and resident of Houma, died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2007. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel. He is survived by his parents, Paul and Kay Chen Cox of Houma; two brothers, Philip Cox and Timothy Cox of Houma; one sister, Deborah Denova Baker and husband, Paul Baker of Houma; his grandmother, Chen,hwan-lai; his step-grandmother, Virginia Martinez; and one niece, Alaya Baker. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Ida Cox; his grandfathers, Paul Martinez and Chen,wu-hsin. He graduated from Vandebilt Catholic High School and was a student and basketball player at Nicholls State University. He died with his family by his side and went peacefully.
