Roy Joseph Boudreaux, 82, a native of Morgan City and resident of Houma, died at 1:25 a.m. Sunday, July 15, 2007.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Domangue Boudreaux of Houma; two sons, Gary Boudreaux of Fairfield, Calif., and David Boudreaux of San Francisco; two daughters, Brenda Chiasson of Houma and Debbie Scrimsher of Tiskilwa, Ill.; two brothers, Sidney Boudreaux of Morgan City and Numa Boudreaux of Houma; one sister, Lillian Boudreaux of Tampa, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mertile Boudreaux and Alice Boudreaux; one son, Barry Boudreaux; seven brothers, Alley, Burly, Addy, Jessie, Riley, Milton and O’Neil Boudreaux; and two sisters, Florence Boudreaux and Agnes Boudreaux.
He was retired with Supreme Stimulation Co. and was a U.S. Navy Seaman 1st Class veteran.
