Wayne Carroll Antill, 69, a native of Bayou Black and resident of Houma, died at 7:30 a.m. Monday, June 25, 2007.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at First Baptist Church of Houma. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the church.
He is survived by his mother, Pearl Jackson Antill of Schriever; one son, Chris Antill and wife, Pamela Boudreaux Antill, of Houma; one sister, Gwen Antill LeBlanc and husband, Robert LeBlanc, of Schriever; one brother, Ray Antill and wife, Mary Antill, of Schriever; two grandsons, Andrew Christopher Antill and Nicholas Joel Antill; one sister-in-law, Patricia Harvey Boutwell and husband, M.J. Boutwell, of Thibodaux; and one sister-in-law, Judy Harvey Orgeron and husband, Freddie Orgeron of Gray.
He was preceded in death by his father, Percy Antill; and his wife, Brenda Harvey Antill.
He served as a U.S. Marine and was retired from the water-conditioning business that he owned for more than 30 years. He was a member of the Krewe of Cleophas and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He was Methodist.
