Nolan "Tight" Paul Dupre, 79, a native of Bayou Blue and resident of Schriever, died at 11 a.m. Monday, June 25, 2007.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, David Dupre and wife, Judy "Super Chicken" Leonard Dupre, of Chackbay and Roy Dupre and wife, Cindy Chenier Dupre, of Thibodaux; two daughters, Elise D. LeBoeuf and husband, David LeBoeuf, and Judy Prestenbach and husband, Glynn Prestenbach Sr. of Houma; two sisters, Pearl Usey of Thibodaux and Jeanie Samanie of Bayou Blue; six grandchildren, Glynn Prestenbach Jr., Loyman Prestenbach, Tony Dupre’, Dwight Dupre’, Ciji Dupre’ and Katie Wilcox; and two great-grandchildren, Kelci Prestenbach and Jaice Prestenbach.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irma Ford Dupre; his parents, Sylvest Dupre and Louise Kramer Dupre; and one brother, Floyd Dupre Sr.
He was a retired truck driver for W.L. Somner and a parishioner of St. Bridget Catholic Church.
