Norman Coden

Norman Jack Coden, 84, died Saturday, August 20, 2011. He was a native of St. Louis, MO and resident of Houma, LA. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his, wife, Marynel McCan Coden, daughter, Mary Coden Labat and husband Clark, Houma, LA. He was preceded in death by his, parents, Victor Coden and Fannie Siegel Coden, and an infant daughter, Marilyn Coden. Norman worked for Lorrillard Tobacco as a salesman for over thirty years. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed working in his yard and loved the New Orleans Saints. He was a loving father and husband. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the VFW. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of the Cardiovascular Institute of the South and the Family Doctor Clinic.
