Francis James Hebert Sr., 85, a native and resident of Houma, died at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2007.
Private services will be held.
He is survived by his former wife, Mary Rose Freeman; two sons, Donald Hebert and wife, Pamela, of New Orleans and Richard Hebert and wife, Christine, of Houma; one daughter, Sheryl Branney of Cuchara, Colo.; one daughter-in-law, Gerri Hebert of Houma; two brothers, Eugene Hebert of New Orleans and Johnny Hebert of Arkansas; two sisters, Margie H. Bergeron and Florence H. Moore of Houma; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Hebert and Sedonia Thibodaux Hebert; one son, Francis Hebert Jr.; one brother, Houston Hebert; and two sisters, Dolores H. White and Pat H. Pitre.
He was retired self-employed with Francis Hebert Marine Service and a member of the Krewe of Christopher Carnival Club and Ducks Unlimited.
He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
