Mary Buquet Duplantis

Mary Buquet Duplantis, 63, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Bourg, died at 6:45 a.m. Friday, June 22, 2007. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with burial in St. Ann Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Charles A. Duplantis of Bourg; her mother, Louise Fanguy Buquet of Houma; two sons, Charles A. Duplantis Jr. and Todd M. Duplantis and wife, Darlene Hebert Duplantis, of Bourg; one daughter, Becky D. Theriot and husband, Eric P. Theriot, of Bourg; one brother, Lenward Buquet of Houma; four sisters, Ruth B. Bergeron of Houma, Joyce B. Voisin of Dulac, Patty B. Dupre and Dorothy B. Vito of Houma; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Ardie Buquet; and one brother, Archie Buquet. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church.
