Paul “Raymond” Lovell, 52, a native of Grand Caillou and a resident of Theriot, died at 3 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2007.
Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel. Religious service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial in St. Eloi Cemetery.
He is survived by his father, Julius Lovell; two sons, Chancey Lovell and companion, Tanya, and Brien Lovell; two daughters, Summer Verdin and husband, Chad, and Shonda Russo and husband, John; three sisters, Francis Dardar, Audrey Billiot and Earline Lovell; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Azalena Verrett Lovell; and one brother, John Russell Lovell.
He was a fisherman and a member of Dularge House of Praise.
