Hilda Domangue Hurst

Hilda Domangue Hurst, 78, a native and resident of Houma, died at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2007. Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, O.J. Hurst Sr. of Houma; three sons, Jimmy Hurst and wife, Debra, Herman Chad Hurst and wife, Sandra, and Jody Hurst and wife, Lisa, all of Houma; one daughter, Holly Hurst Caballero and husband, Daniel, of Houma; one sister, Gardlene Domangue Sharp of Lafayette; 11 grandchildren, Kelly Caballero Duplantis, Cullen Caballero, Jill Nicole Hurst, Christy Hurst, Chad Linton Hurst, Destin Michael Hurst, Ryan Thomas Hurst, Megan Amanda Hurst, Katelyn Marie Hurst, Gabrielle Kimbal and Danielle Kimbal; and two great-grandchildren, Alysse Taylor Duplantis and Sage Elizabeth Hurst. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Domangue and Henrietta Bergeron Domangue; and three brothers, Herman "T-Man" Domangue, Nolan Domangue and Chester Domangue. She was a retired beautician and a member of First Baptist Church of Houma.
