Catherine Carlos Thibodaux, 58, a native of Grand Caillou and a resident of Thibodaux, died after a courageous battle with cancer at 3:37 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2007.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Louis Catholic Church. Mass will be at noon Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her former husband, Wayne Joseph Thibodeaux of Bayou Blue; one son, Chad Anthony Thibodeaux and wife, Melissa, of Gray; two daughters, Katrina Lynn Bertinot and husband, Lee, of Houma and Kayla Marie Thibodeaux of Houma; four brothers, Harold Carlos of Houma, Rudolph Carlos and wife, Jeanette, of Grand Caillou, Royal "Frog" Carlos of Houma and Jimmy Carlos and wife, Helen, of Petal, Miss.; one sister, Judie Rutledge and husband, Jim, of Houston; and two grandchildren, Lea Thibodeaux and boyfriend, Jay Robichaux, of Raceland and Chad Joseph Thibodaux of Gray.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Aglia Carlos; four brothers, Ronald, Roland, Peter and Gary Carlos; two sisters, Helen Hebert of Gibson and Gloria Carlos of Grand Caillou.
She was one of a kind, always eager to help a friend or a neighbor in need. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was Catholic.
