Andrew Emile Cuccia Jr.

Andrew Emile Cuccia Jr., 85, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, died at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2007. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Prayer service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel, with burial at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans. He is survived by two sons, Robert P. Cuccia and wife, Candace, of Houma and Andrew D. Cuccia and wife, Cindy, of Norman, Okla.; and four grandchildren, Katherine E. Cuccia, Andrea G. Cuccia of Houma, Annemarie C. Cuccia of Norman and Jeremy P. Prosperie of Pearl River. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Piegts Cuccia; his parents, Andrew Cuccia and Emily Fernandez Cuccia; and two brothers, Anthony Cuccia and Joseph Cuccia. He was a retired bakery manager with McKenzies Bakeries for more than 25 years. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
