Florence Marie Breaux Riviere, 84, a native and resident of Houma, died at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2007.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by three daughters, Marlene Boudwin, Verelee Pontiff and Sheryl Riviere of Houma; one brother, Alphonse Breaux Jr. of Houma; two sisters, Mildred LeBouef and Ola Falgout of Houma; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonce J. Riviere; her parents, Alphonse Breaux Sr. and Lula Poiencot Breaux; and one sister, Charlene Brignac.
She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
She was a homemaker.
