Summer Lynn Trosclair, 26, a native and resident of Houma, LA died Monday, February 28, 2011 at 4:00 PM. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 2, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 9:00 AM until Service time at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Survived by: Parents: Brian Trosclair and Pixie Trosclair; Brother: Byron Trosclair and wife Vanessa; Godchildren: Landon Trosclair, Victoria Schott and Natalie Page; Grandparents: James "Dick" and Beverly Trosclair; Lifelong friend Amanda Billiot and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by: Grandparents: Allen "Buzz" and Mary Jane LeBlanc and Aunt Jenny Trosclair Bergeron. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. She was a 2003 graduate of Ellender Memorial High School. She was a former student of L.E. Fletcher Technical College. She was a student at Nicholls State University completing her Bachelor's degree in Accounting. She was the Assistant Administrator, Summer Camp Director, and the Child Care Director at the YMCA. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Summer Trosclair Fund at Synergy Bank or donations may be made in her name at the YMCA at 103 Valhi Boulevard, Houma, Louisiana, 70360.
