Minos Joseph Faulk, 96, a native of Kaplan and resident of Houma, died Friday, Feb. 18, 2011.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to service time Monday at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Mass will be 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in St. Francis De Sales Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by four sons, David Faulk and wife, Linda, of Lafayette, Marshall Faulk and wife, Patti, Gerald Faulk of Houma and Mark Faulk and wife, Willie Lou, of Houston; one brother, John Faulk, of Abbeville; 10 grandchildren, Emmet Faulk Jr, Andree Gerami, Eric Faulk, Jennifer Runkel, Steven Faulk, Michael Faulk, Kevin Faulk, Kyle Faulk, Melanie Faulk and Robert Faulk; 14 great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Andrew and Alexis Faulk, Sarah and Rebecca Gerami, Austin, Chloe and Nicholas Faulk, Landon Champagne, Hannah and Brandon Runkel and Katie, Isabella, Anna and Emily Faulk.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Louise Faulk; one son, Emmet Faulk; his father, Ulyssee Faulk; his mother, Olympe Landry Faulke; his stepmother, Noema Broussard Faulk; three brothers, Edes, Freddie and J.Y. Faulk and two sisters, Ella Guidry and Agnes Allemand.
Pallbearers include Emmet Faulk Jr., Eric Faulk, Kevin Faulk, Kyle Faulk, Stephen Faulk, Robert Faulk and Michael Faulk.
