Octave John Lirette, 69, died Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 3:15 AM. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 21, 2011 from 9:00am to 11:00 am at Annunziata Catholic Church. Funeral service will be on Monday, February 21, 2011 at 11:00 am at Annunziata Catholic Church burial following in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Sheryl Mary Lirette of Houma, LA, daughters, Dorothy Lirette Bergeron and husband James Bergeron of Houma LA Holly Lirette Lirette and husband Keith Lirette of Bourg LA Angela Lirette Babin and husband Lloyd Babin of Houma LA sisters, Lana Lirette Pellegrin of Bourg LA grandchildren, Bradley Bergeron Rhea Babin Matthew Lirette Andrew Babin Bailey Lirette Danielle Bergeron Sarah Babin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley Jane Lirette Bernice Hebert Lirette brothers, Emos Lirette sisters, Shirley Matherne Una Rogers. He worked for Texaco Paradis Plant He was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. O.J. loved to fish and hunt. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to do carpentry work.
