Nicole Elizabeth Safley

Nicole Elizabeth Safley, 20, a native and resident of Houma, died at 3 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2007. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until funeral Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be noon Monday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, with burial at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by her mother, Gail Guillot Safley of Houma, her father, Walter Safley of Houma; two brothers, Blake Safley and Michael Safley of Houma; her grandparents, Billy and Helen Buchanan of Vicksburg, Miss, Sanford Guillot of Las Vegas and Dora Giroir Guillot of Dallas; and numerous aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her cousin, John Bryant Gordon. She was a pharmacy tech with Rite Aid and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to St. Francis de Sales School.
