Raymond Lee Dombrowski

Raymond Lee Dombrowski, 13, a native of Aiken County, S.C., and a resident of Montegut, died at 7:38 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2007. Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at the Montegut Fire Station. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. at the fire station, with a burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery. He is survived by his parents, Paulina Dupre Carroll and James Carroll of Montegut; one brother, Larry John Dombrowski of Montegut; one niece, Adrianna Carroll of Montegut; his father, Keith Dombrowski of South Carolina; his grandparents, James Carroll and Frances Carroll of South Carolina; his grandmother, Clara Ball of Ohio; three uncles, Tommy Green and wife, Cindy, Arnold Carroll all of South Carolina and Bob Dombrowski and wife, Phillis, of Ohio; three aunts, Sissy Baugham and husband, Kenny, Carol Boyd and husband, Randy, all of South Carolina and Faye Dombrowski of Ohio; Aunt Patricia "Patty" Briggs, and numerous cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Larry and Annette Dupre; his paternal grandfather, John Dombrowski; his step-grandfather George Ball; one brother, Justin Carroll; and one uncle, Gary Dombrowski. He was a student of Montegut Middle School. He enjoyed playing football, basketball, riding his bike, hunting and being with his friends. He will be sadly missed by his friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Raymond Dombrowski fund at Coastal Commerce Bank in Chauvin. Brother Keith of Our Father’s House of Restoration in Point-aux-Chenes will oversee the funeral. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Paul Crochet, Raishe Lyons, Derek Hall, Jose Hernandez, Victor Hernandez and Maurice McKeon. Jared Hall will be an alternate pallbearer.
